Quad Terms of Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to Quad ("we," "our," "us"). Quad is a marketplace and discovery platform that connects users to vendors, offers, and services, including features such as anonymous gifts, vendor listings, delivery coordination, and AI-assisted interactions through Quadbot.
By accessing or using Quad, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Quad. If you are under 18, you may only use Quad under the supervision or consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
3. Platform Overview
Quad provides:
- Vendor marketplace listings
- Anonymous gift discovery ("Quad Hunts")
- Order placement and fulfillment workflows
- Delivery coordination via third-party systems (e.g., logistics partners)
- Wallet and payment features (where applicable)
- AI assistance through Quadbot
4. Quadbot (AI Assistant) Terms
Quadbot is an AI-powered assistant integrated into the Quad platform to help users navigate, discover, and interact with Quad services.
4.1 Purpose
Quadbot may:
- Assist users in finding products and vendors
- Help generate recommendations or summaries
- Guide users through ordering and delivery processes
- Support vendor onboarding or listing clarification
- Answer general platform-related questions
4.2 Limitations
Quadbot:
- Does not guarantee accuracy, availability, pricing, or vendor reliability
- Does not replace human customer support or legal/financial advice
- May produce automated responses that require user verification
- Should not be solely relied upon for high-stakes decisions (e.g., payments, disputes, safety-critical instructions)
4.3 User Responsibility
Users agree that:
- They will verify critical information independently
- They will not rely exclusively on Quadbot for transactions
- They understand AI-generated outputs may be imperfect or incomplete
4.4 Prohibited Use of Quadbot
Users must not use Quadbot to:
- Generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
- Attempt to manipulate platform systems or pricing
- Extract or reverse-engineer proprietary logic
- Misuse it for fraud, impersonation, or deception
- Bypass platform rules or vendor policies
4.5 Data Handling
- Quadbot may process user inputs to generate responses
- Inputs may be used to improve system performance and personalization
- Sensitive personal data should not be shared with Quadbot unless necessary
5. Quad Marketplace Rules
Users must:
- Provide accurate information when ordering or listing items
- Respect vendor policies and pricing structures
- Avoid fraudulent or abusive transactions
- Not misuse anonymous gifting features for harassment or illegal activity
6. Orders, Delivery & Fulfillment
- Quad may route orders to third-party logistics systems (e.g., delivery partners or runner networks)
- Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees
- Quad is not responsible for delays caused by external partners
7. Payments & Wallet (If Applicable)
- Users must ensure payment methods are valid and authorized
- Quad may process payments through third-party providers
- Refunds are subject to vendor and platform policies
8. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors must:
- Provide accurate product descriptions and pricing
- Fulfill orders as agreed
- Maintain ethical and legal business practices
- Avoid misleading listings or manipulation of Quad systems
9. Privacy
Quad collects and processes data necessary for:
- Order fulfillment
- Platform improvement
- Personalization of experience (including Quadbot)
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
10. Quad Hunt (Anonymous Gift Feature)
- Gifts may be anonymously listed by vendors or the platform
- Users may discover items without knowing full vendor identity initially
- Abuse of anonymity features is strictly prohibited
11. Suspension & Termination
Quad may suspend or terminate access if users:
- Violate these terms
- Engage in fraud or abuse
- Misuse Quadbot or platform features
12. Limitation of Liability
Quad is not liable for:
- Vendor actions or product quality
- Delivery delays or failures
- AI-generated inaccuracies from Quadbot
- Indirect or consequential damages
13. Changes to Terms
Quad may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of updated terms.
